Like our founders, many people are drawn to mountain biking for the physical benefits it provides, and while these benefits are compelling, the Red Rock Biker leadership team recognizes that mountain biking also has the unique ability of greatly improving the mental health of youth, adults and really, any needful individual who can get on two wheels.

At some point in their life, most everyone has struggled with some degree of mental health crisis such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders or obsessive compulsive disorders. Unfortunately, as a society, we are sometimes quick to resort solely to prescription drugs to treat our mental health issues. While we don’t attempt or pretend to diagnose or cure anyone, we do share our own stories of applying life principles through mountain biking along with the very real and personal positive impact that mountain biking has had on our own leadership team. For a few of us, it’s been nothing short of a life-saver, in the truest sense. Our mission is to show people how they can use these principles and the sport of biking to define their abilities and not their limitations!
